increasing pressure to adopt electric solutions. Diesel-powered trucks are no longer the most viable option due to:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Regulations on emissions<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Increasing fuel costs<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Pressure for reduced operational costs<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Long-term sustainability targets<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>In this project, a mining company approached us in 2023, aiming to electrify its mining trucks to reduce emissions and fuel costs. Mining operations face unique challenges, including continuous pit climbing, extreme conditions, and high payloads, which put traditional diesel trucks at a disadvantage due to issues like skidding and power interruption under such demanding workloads.<\/p><p>To overcome these challenges, we recommended our latest axial flux motor solution. The motor features a 570 kW rated power with a peak output of 900 kW, providing a significant boost to both power and performance. The compact design, with an axial length of just 407 mm, allows for easy integration and exceptional flexibility in truck layouts. This solution addresses the demanding operational requirements of mining trucks while reducing carbon emissions and fuel
