Brogen OESTEA6640Z is the higher-capacity variant of the STEA5300Z, sharing the same hydroformed housing platform and mechanical architecture while delivering increased wheel-end output torque of 6640 N·m to support 4.5T axle loads.
The motor is uprated to 80 kW rated and 160 kW peak, with peak torque of 400 N·m, providing additional pulling capacity for loaded delivery and van applications. The same 16.6:1 fixed gear ratio is retained, maintaining the same top speed capability of 100 km/h.
As with the STEA5300Z, the axle features maintenance-free hubs and supports both hydraulic (oil) and air brake configurations. Adjustable wheel track and spring base dimensions allow platform sharing across vehicle families, reducing OEM tooling investment.
