Brogen OESTEA40000Z is a generation 1.6 heavy-duty electric drive axle designed for tractor and freight truck applications requiring extremely high torque density and robust durability under continuous heavy-load operation. It delivers up to 40,000 N·m of wheel-end torque through a combined architecture of a two-speed gearbox and integrated hub reduction, enabling strong low-speed pulling force and efficient high-speed cruising in a single compact drivetrain unit.

The system pairs a 13.203:1 low ratio and 4.367:1 high ratio gearbox with a 3.478:1 hub reduction, allowing a 136/290 kW (rated/peak) motor to operate efficiently across a wide range of driving conditions. With up to 860 N·m motor torque and a 10,000 rpm operating capability, the axle is optimized for heavy-duty freight cycles and highway operation up to 110 km/h.

Built on a reinforced stamped-welded housing, the OESTEA40000Z is engineered for high structural strength and long-term reliability in demanding commercial environments. Its heavy-duty drum brake system (φ410×220) delivers up to 2×18,000 N·m braking torque, ensuring stable and controlled braking performance under full load conditions.

To support a wider range of vocational applications, the axle offers optional differential lock and power take-off (PTO) functionality. A maintenance-free hub design further reduces service requirements and improves overall fleet uptime and operating efficiency.
