Brogen OESTEA39000Z is a four-speed heavy-duty electric drive axle designed to deliver extreme torque capability and high efficiency across a wide operating range for demanding commercial EV applications. Built on a 13T axle platform, it delivers up to 39,089 N·m of wheel-end torque through a four-speed gearbox system, providing significantly greater operating flexibility than conventional two-speed architectures.
The multi-speed transmission allows optimal gear selection across varying load, gradient, and speed conditions, improving motor efficiency and expanding the usable performance window. Powered by a 190/310 kW (rated/peak) motor operating at 650V, the system delivers up to 590 N·m of motor torque and ensures strong performance under heavy-duty freight and extreme load conditions.
With gear ratios of 10.2, 20.0, 36.3, and 71.0, the axle achieves both high launch torque and efficient high-speed cruising within a single integrated drivetrain platform. The reinforced cast iron housing is engineered for maximum durability and long duty-cycle operation in harsh environments.
As with the OESTEA26000Z, the OESTEA39000Z supports optional differential lock and power take-off (PTO) functions, enabling integration into construction, mining, municipal, and other vocational vehicle applications requiring extended functionality and high reliability.
