The OEDM2100 upgrades the 8.5-metre platform for highway-going coaches with 90 kW rated / 195 kW peak power and a 3,500 rpm ceiling. Both units share the Φ415 × 433 mm housing and 195 kg mass, ensuring structural commonality. The additional 700 rpm headroom and extra 10 kW rated power allow the OEDM2100 to sustain efficient operation at motorway cruising speeds. The peak torque of 2,100 Nm provides excellent overtaking response on inclines with a full passenger complement.
