Brogen OESTEA16000Z is a lightweight two-speed electric drive axle engineered for 12T to 18T specialty vehicles and logistics trucks that require high torque output with reduced system weight. Built on the same 8T axle platform as the OESTEA14000Z, it delivers up to 16,000 N·m wheel-end torque while reducing total assembly weight to just 525 kg, improving payload efficiency and overall vehicle performance.
The axle is powered by a high-output 150/270 kW motor delivering up to 650 N·m peak torque, providing strong acceleration, climbing capability, and reliable full-load operation. Its two-speed gearbox with 25.23:1 low-speed and 12.96:1 high-speed ratios balances launch performance and highway efficiency while maintaining drivetrain commonality across the platform family.
To support the lightweight configuration, the OESTEA16000Z adopts a compact Φ222.25 mm wheel-end design combined with a lighter 320×160 drum brake system. The braking system delivers up to 2×8,000 N·m brake torque, ensuring dependable braking performance for medium-duty commercial applications.
A maintenance-free hub design further helps reduce service requirements and lower long-term fleet operating costs.
