The OEDM2400 targets the 10-metre bus segment, delivering 100 kW rated / 200 kW peak power and 1,000 Nm rated / 2,400 Nm peak torque at a 3,600 rpm maximum speed. The doubled rated torque  reflects the heavier vehicle gross weight (typically 14–16 tonnes at full load). At 3,600 rpm the motor sits at the intersection of city-bus stop-start duty and the occasional inter-district run, making it flexible for both dense urban routes and suburban express lines.
