The OEDM4300 represents the pinnacle of Brogen’s bus motor range, producing 230 kW rated / 400 kW peak power and 2,100 Nm rated / 4,300 Nm peak torque—the highest in any bus application in the DM catalog. Maximum speed is 3,000 rpm. The motor is housed in the Φ512 × 603 mm shell , weighs 325 kg owing to a different winding configuration optimized for a higher speed-torque balance. At 400 kW peak power, the OEDM4300 can propel a fully loaded 18-metre articulated coach up steep urban gradients without any driveline assistance.
