Brogen OEEA2200N is a 13T low-floor portal hub-reduction electric drive axle engineered for 10–18 m electric city buses and articulated transit vehicles. Its low-floor portal architecture positions the axle beam above the wheel centres, creating an extra-wide 810 mm unobstructed aisle that improves passenger flow, accessibility, and boarding efficiency in high-capacity urban transport applications.
The axle integrates dual high-performance PMSM drive motors, each delivering 80 kW continuous power and 165 kW peak power. With up to 11,210 N·m wheel-end torque per side, the system provides the high traction capability and gradeability required for fully loaded city bus operations, frequent stop-and-go driving, and demanding urban routes.
Optimized with a 22.42 reduction ratio and maximum wheel speed of 579 rpm, the OEEA2200N delivers smooth low-speed control, efficient torque transmission, and stable vehicle performance. The platform also features IP68-rated environmental protection, a 600 VDC high-voltage architecture, and 22.5″ pneumatic disc brakes for reliable long-term operation in intensive public transportation environments.
