Brogen OESTEA28000 is an ultra-lightweight heavy-duty electric drive axle developed to deliver high wheel-end torque with significantly reduced system weight. Producing up to 28,000 N·m wheel-end torque at an assembly weight of approximately 700 kg, it is designed to maximize vehicle payload capacity while maintaining strong heavy-duty performance.
Compared with conventional heavy e-axles, the lightweight architecture reduces overall axle mass by around 250 kg, helping improve freight efficiency and operational profitability for logistics, sanitation, and municipal vehicle applications.
The platform is available with multiple motor configurations ranging from 150/270 kW to 240/410 kW, supporting both 600V and 800V vehicle architectures. Advanced flat-wire motor technology and optional oil-water composite cooling on 800V variants provide improved thermal performance and sustained high-power operation.
Two gearbox ratio groups are offered to suit different operating requirements. The 43.2 / 13.9 configuration prioritizes climbing capability and heavy-load traction, while the 33.5 / 11.2 option supports higher-speed freight efficiency and highway operation.
The OESTEA28000 is available in both 11.5T and 13T axle load configurations, allowing OEMs to tailor the platform for regional freight, sanitation, and demanding municipal applications. Optional differential lock and PTO functions further expand the axle’s versatility across specialized vehicle segments.
