Brogen OEEP17CS is a distributed wheel-side electric drive axle engineered for premium 8–12 m city buses and coaches. Featuring independent suspension and dual wheel-side motors, the system enhances ride comfort, traction performance, and vehicle handling for advanced commercial EV platforms.
Unlike conventional central-drive axles, the OEEP17CS uses independently driven wheel-side motors, eliminating the traditional differential and enabling precise torque distribution between the left and right wheels. This architecture improves traction control, cornering stability, and overall vehicle dynamics, particularly in urban transit and long-wheelbase coach applications.
The integrated dual air-spring independent suspension system delivers improved ride quality and passenger comfort while supporting both 14.5-tonne and 16.5-tonne GVW vehicle platforms. Combined peak axle torque reaches 16,700 Nm, providing strong launch capability and stable performance under heavy passenger loads.
With its advanced distributed drive layout, integrated suspension design, and commercial-duty durability, the OEEP17CS is designed for next-generation electric bus and coach platforms focused on comfort, efficiency, and intelligent vehicle control.
