The OEH215 represents our flagship low-speed direct-drive solution for the premium 11–12 m highway-coach segment. Operating from a 600 VDC source, it delivers 215 kW rated / 350 kW peak power with a formidable 1 260 Nm rated and 2 800 Nm peak torque at up to 3 500 rpm — all from a 234 kg, Φ436×405 mm unit. The 600 V bus voltage lowers supply current compared with lower-voltage competitors, reducing heat in connectors, cables, and the inverter and allowing the designer to allocate the thermal budget to the motor core for greater torque density. Peak efficiency of ≥97% is achieved through variable-reluctance rotor topology and loss-minimization software control algorithms that adapt switching frequency dynamically. The fully enclosed anti-condensation housing is rated IP68, validated against 2 m/72 h immersion, and the Class-H insulation system (high-temperature magnetic circuit structure) ensures service life of 20 years / 2 000 000 km even under the high ambient temperatures encountered on southern Chinese inter-city routes.
