Brogen OESTEA8350Z is a high-torque single-speed electric drive axle designed for light-duty and medium-light commercial EV applications requiring strong low-speed performance and simplified drivetrain architecture. Built on a 6.5T axle platform, it delivers up to 8,350 N·m of wheel-end torque through a large single-reduction gear system, combining a 16.39:1 primary ratio and a 13.05:1 alternate ratio to optimize traction, efficiency, and drivability across urban and regional duty cycles.
Power comes from a 120/250 kW (rated/peak) high-speed motor capable of reaching 12,000 rpm, providing responsive acceleration and stable power delivery under varying load conditions. The compact motor and high reduction design enable strong torque output while maintaining packaging efficiency for light truck platforms and EV drivetrain integration.
A key advantage of the OESTEA8350Z is its dual-voltage architecture, supporting both 600V standard systems and next-generation 800V platforms. This makes it compatible with modern high-voltage EV architectures, enabling improved energy efficiency and faster charging potential in advanced vehicle systems.
For braking performance, the axle is equipped with a wedge drum brake system (310×130) delivering up to 2×7,800 N·m of braking torque, ensuring stable and reliable stopping power under full load conditions. A maintenance-free hub design further enhances operational efficiency by reducing service requirements and lowering total lifecycle cost for fleet operators.
