Brogen OEEP28D is a heavy-duty electric drive axle developed for 18-tonne logistics trucks, sanitation vehicles, and municipal commercial EV applications. Designed for high-load and demanding urban duty cycles, the OEEP28D combines high wheel-end torque, a two-speed transmission system, and commercial-grade durability.
Its integrated two-speed gearbox enables optimized performance across low-speed heavy-load operation and higher-speed road driving. The low gear ratio provides maximum traction and launch capability for steep gradients, refuse collection routes, and fully loaded operation, while the high gear supports improved cruising efficiency and vehicle speed.
The axle delivers up to 27,100 Nm peak torque and operates on a 540 V high-voltage platform with a 160 kW peak motor. A hydroformed heavy-duty axle housing and reinforced wheel-end structure ensure durability under continuous commercial operation.
Optional differential lock functionality further enhances traction in low-adhesion or uneven road conditions, making the OEEP28D particularly suitable for sanitation fleets, municipal vehicles, and heavy urban logistics applications.
